Rajhesh Vaidhya was brought up in a rich musical environment. His father Sri K.M. Vaidyanathan was a stalwart both in Mridangam and Ghatam. His tutelage under Smt. Jeyalakshmi started at the tender age of six. He continued learning the finer nuances of music from Smt Rama Nambinarayanan his advanced training from the world-renowned carnatic veena maestro Shri Chitti Babu.Rajhesh Vaidhya is not only a renowned musician in India, his fame and popularity spreads in all the musical stages around the world including Europe, Brazil, South Africa, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Mauritius, Canada, USA and many more. He has also performed with the Switzerland based contemporary dance troupe “BEJART BALLET”.
Apart from his blistering speed, Rajhesh’s performance is distinguished by his use of electric and amplified strings.
He has performed in numerous music festivals including, ITC Sangeeth Sammelan, Surya Festival, Chennayil Thiruvaiyyaaru and many more...
Besides his on stage instrumental performances, he is also deeply involved with recording for leading Cine Music Directors and documentary filmmakers, the likes of Vidyasagar, Harris Jeyaraj, Bhardhwaj, Deva, DevisriPrasad, SrikanthDeva, and Shri. S. Krishnaswamy etc.
RajheshVaidhya was introduced as a Film Music Director in the movie “VEGAM” by Shri.S.Ve.Shekher, starring Ashwin Shekher.

In 2001, Rajhesh Vaidhya was honored with the title “ Shri Kanchi Kamakoti Peeta Aasthana Vidwan “.
Rajhesh Vaidhya has composed music for some of the famous Tele serials such as, "Pudayal", "MarmaDesam", "Anni", "Veettukku Veedu Lootty", "Sharadha", "Alaigal", "Mughangal", "Marakka Mudiyuma", "Enna satham inda naeram”, "Sahaana" “Nilavai Pidippom", “Vikramaaditya”, “Idu oru Kaadal Kadhai”, “Thenmozhiyaal”, “Magal”, “Naan Aval Illai”, “Sindubath”, “Sridevi”, “Mahanadhi” , “ComedyColony” as well as, documentaries such as “Indian Imprints”.
However, his lists of talents don’t end here. He has, to his credit, his performance as an actor in the famous Tele-serial “Premi” directed by “Iyakkunar Sigaram” Sri K. Balachander.
He also devotes his time to the enlightening of young minds in the area of music by tutoring at “VEENALAYAM”, Canada.
